Murphy Magee – (CCTR name: Magee)
Murphy Magee (he’s called both names in that order) is a love sponge cuddle bunny! Wherever I am, he’s right beside me. In the chair, on the couch, in bed. He loves the ocean, the hairdryer and apparently, towels. Every time I dry off after a shower or lean over to towel off my head, he wraps himself around me so he gets scrubbed, too. He loves going for walks and makes tying my shoes difficult by sticking his face in the middle of the laces. He greets all the neighbors whether they want to be greeted or not, and he loves every dog he meets.
He likes to get under the covers in the morning and roll all over me when he’s not crawling around on my chest and giving me kisses or gently chewing on my chin.
When we walk, he checks every porch and garage we pass for a human he can greet for pats and scratches. Most are happy to accommodate his baby enthusiasm.
We’re working on going outside in the fenced yard alone. We’re not making much progress, but he did stay outside by himself for about three minutes this morning. Quite a triumph!
I’m so glad Murphy moved here. He’s an absolute joy!
