Rockit-Dog is taking some needed time to rest after his last assignment which was not a good fit for him. He is affectionate and attentive, seeks attention, plays with toys, and is generally a gentleman. He still holds some triggers from that last assignment and needs patience until he gets used to a new person. He plays well with the resident dogs, eats in the same room with them but may still have some resource guarding issues with more dominant potential sibs. He does not like to be forced to do anything (like go into his crate) but is food motivated which makes things easier on everyone. He would make a great single pet and would do well with a most submissive male if there is one in the home. He has not had a good experience with young children so I recommend only older adolescents be present in his forever home. In his previous assignment, he was closest with the male/s in the home, but is fine if there are only female/s. He is really a handsome little guy who just wants to enjoy life and feel safe.
