5/28/2026. Rachel is a sweet, timid, affectionate senior Cairn Terrier. She is bonded to Ross, who also is 11 years old, and they must be adopted together. Rachel is stubborn on a leash and will back out of her harness if she doesn't want to move or go in the same direction as her walker. For this reason, she must be walked with two leashes: one on her collar and one on her harness. She enjoys running and sniffing in a fully fenced-in yard. Rachel is a poop eater and will eat another dog's poop. Rachel loves rolling on her back, inside and outside, and sleeping in dog beds. She enjoys snuggling next to foster mom in the rocker recliner. She enjoys standing next to foster mom in the kitchen when she's preparing meals. Rachel checks the kitchen floor often for crumbs. She has learned how to ask to go out by standing in front of the door. Rachel will make a loving companion for a lucky person or family.
