9/25/2026. Please welcome Papa Jim to the CCTR family! Although 13 years old, you’d never know it by his behavior. He rested up for the first few days he was here but is now ready to run in the yard with his foster siblings (2 females, 1 male) who he gets along with very well. He has discovered balls and stuffed toys and tries to entice his foster sister into playing. Papa Jim does have some quirky behaviors: he does not like being picked up but loves to be petted and brushed. He loves attention and affection. He resists having a harness put on (a behavior we are working on) but loves to go for walks, where he practically prances down the street. He loves his meals and waits his turn for a treat. With his curved tail and soft fur, he is a mix, but his attitude is all cairn. Papa Jim is a sweet senior who is not quite ready for his forever home but should be very soon.
8/23/2026. Papa Jim, a 3 year old cairnish kind of guy, wears a sporty cream suit that perfectly complements his trim 13 lb figure.
