I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Moonstone (C-1063) MD

We're happy to tell you that Moonstone (C-1063) MD has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

3/27/2026. Moonstone is a very sweet, timid little girl. Having come from a puppy mill, we sense she lived in a crate or kennel before reaching our home. At first, she was very scared of everything, especially being let outside in the grass to go potty, and venturing outside her crate. She sure has come a long way!!! She is now fully housebroken, crate trained and content to sit by our sides all day. She is good with our resident dogs, and is beginning to try and play with them. Her confidence around people and roaming free in our home, is growing. She would make a lovely companion for an older couple or a quiet household who would be patient with her and she transitions to her furever family. She is still quite timid and requires some patience as convincing her to come inside or out of her crate (door always open) will take a little time. She gets along a well with other dogs of all sizes. We have seen her confidence and comfort level grow tremendously while she has been in our care. She will need some time in a quiet comfortable setting, but it will be worth the effort for this precious, tail wagging, happy girl.

3/24/20206. Moonstone is a very sweet, shy, little girl. She is housebroken, crate trained, and enjoys the company of other dogs. She would do best in a quiet home, where she could sit next to her family on the couch, snuggling. She came from a breeding facility, so it will take her some time to get comfortable in her new environment. But once she is comfortable, she will be a wonderful companion. She is a sweet girl.

My name is Moonstone. I'm a female West Highland Terrier and I'm 3-4 years old. Right now I'm a little shy, but I'm getting more outgoing...slowly. I came into CCTR with three other Westie gals. Please check back here soon to find out more about me.
