Update: 3/26/26. Mary Jo is a very affectionate and submissive dog. She loves running around with her teddy bear and may not want to share him with other dogs, but she has never had a problem with foster mom or dad taking her toy. She really does not like cold weather, so Michigan in the winter is not her favorite place. She would much rather be inside with her people than outside, but with consistency, she is learning that she must go outside to do her business. Storms scare her and can stress her out as well as loud noises. She loves spending time in her crate but is also happy to sit on the couch with mom or dad. She isn't very good on a leash yet, but may get better with time and good weather. She is curious and you will need to watch out for what she can get into as she will chew on things including shoelaces. She is always excited to see you and her tail will go a mile a minute.
Mary Jo is a 5-year-old beautiful red brindle female cairn terrier who loves attention and will snuggle with you, but she is skittish and doesn't like loud noises. Please check back here soon for an update on Mary Jo.
