3/16/2026. Lewis is a wonderful little guy. He is a beautiful purebred white Miniature Schnauzer with the cutest perky ears. He has settled into his foster home with ease and fits in beautifully with the resident dogs, playing with them throughout the day and matching their energy and routines. He enjoys spending time in the fenced yard, where he patrols the perimeter like a little security officer and then stretches out on the deck to sunbathe. A fenced yard is strongly recommended for him. He truly loves having that safe outdoor space to explore. Every morning, Lewis waits patiently for his walk with the resident dogs. He walks beautifully on a leash, and his foster keeps him in a harness to protect his neck and prevent pulling. Lewis eats twice daily and never leaves a morsel behind. His meals include kibble topped with an extra protein, plus his favorite add‑ins: strawberries and carrots, which he gets every day. He also loves vanilla ice cream for a special treat. He does have one important dietary note: he is allergic to beef. Lewis is working on crate training. So far, he has only been left alone for up to three hours, and he is very excited when his people return. Lewis is a huge cuddler who thrives on affection. He sleeps in the big bed every night and will politely whine until someone lifts him up. Lewis will make a wonderful addition to a family, especially one with another dog or two, a fenced yard, and people who enjoy a cuddly companion who wants to be near his humans. He is affectionate, social, eager to please, and full of love.
