12-29-25: Chester, his foster mom calls him Chetter, is a jaunty little terrier mix. The home who gave him up said he is a silky terrier mix. Chet just competed dog school where he showed his intelligence by being a star student and promptly learning. He still has some separation anxiety but this has gotten better as he has become more trusting and familiar with his foster home’s routine.
Please say a sunny “Howdy” to Chester, our newest cousin to join Cairns & Cousins. And what a handsome guy he is! Chester is a cute little guy at only 6 years of age and carrying a trim 13 lbs. And he is the quite the man-about-town in his lush wheaten sport jacket. He is a stalwart little guy who loves to walk on leash but he has some separation anxiety so will be happiest in a home where people are home. He is a great walker, very nicely housebroken, and will go to the door and bark when he needs to go out. He is cute as can be with his beige and gray brindle coat. He crates to command without hesitation.
