3/23/2026. Cooper is doing great! He's mastered going up and down our steep set of stairs, has a great time dining alfresco at the local taco bar, runs errands in the car like it's a old habit and figured out sleeping on the sofa with us is his jam. He never meets another dog on the street he doesn't like and is quite the flirt with both girls and boys. But his most favorite thing is a warm lap.
3/5/2026. From straydom to kingdom, Bradley Cooper made his way from the lonely streets to a warm, dry home where he can be prince. When he first arrived, it didn’t take him long to wiggle his way into our laps and hearts, (just hours really). And he’s left behind his survivalist ways (like trying to build a den in the backyard!). Cooper loves people of all kinds. When he greets a human his tail wags wildly and he scrambles to offer affection (or wiggles his way into a warm lap to nose-bump for scritches). He is sometimes shy; it seems he’s not yet 100% confident of his stature in the home, but the scrappy terrier is peaking through. He loves to hang out in the yard and survey his domain, sometimes running up to the fence to make sure passersby know he’s watching. But he gladly returns to the door when called and recognizes he’d rather be inside with his humans. Cooper spent his first three weeks in foster care with a younger brother the same size and he loved the companionship. They wrestled and zoomed regularly and Cooper started to appreciate toys. He didn’t mind sharing the toys and sofa, but sometimes he didn’t want to share his foster mom by elbowing his brother out of the way. He would be happy as an only dog but would probably benefit from living with a sibling who can help him smell the roses a bit more often. When he goes for walks, he’s super excited to meet all dogs, big or small, male or female, so any type of sibling would suit him. He’s pretty quiet, but we’re not fooled. Glimpses of terrier show up here and there, reminding us he’s not a push-over. As his confidence grows, we expect this smart boy to claim full ownership of the household.
2/9/2026. Bradley Cooper is a young Cairn Terrier mix who is about 7 years old. He weighs 16 lbs, and he is active and playful and a very vocal fellow. Please check back here soon for more information on Bradley Cooper from his foster mom.
