9/9/2026. Trevor has been in foster care for one month now and has made lots of progress. He hasn't had an accident in the house for more than a week, and seems to understand that he needs to go potty outside. He LOVES his foster sister Robin and it would be nice if they were adopted together. He loves to play, especially with her, and races through the house with a toy in his mouth to get her attention. Trevor got checked out at the vet this week and was very well behaved, no issues at all other than a little half hearted growling. He warms up quickly to strangers, especially if they offer a treat. Trevor is a diamond in the rough and is a happy, friendly boy.
8/18/2026. Say hello to Trevor! He was found as a stray living under a porch, and is now living the good life in NC. Trevor has a true terrier face, but some long, long legs that make his breed hard to determine. He is a happy fellow and loves to play; he has learned about toys in his foster home and carries them from room to room. Trevor's favorite thing to do is play with his foster sister, whether it is chasing her or being chased by her, and definitely chewing on her. She was living under the porch with him and these two certainly love each other. Trevor is learning to walk on a leash, and wants to sniff everything in sight. He is startled by loud noises, and takes some time to warm up to new people. He did not enjoy his time at the vet and was growly and snappy there, but has been an absolute delight at his foster home, coming right out of his crate and putting his paws up for love. Trevor will need some time to gain weight and become more secure with his surroundings now that he isn't fighting for survival, but he has already come a long way with house breaking and learning how to be a pet. Trevor is an absolute sweetheart who will be a great pet for the right home.
8/6/2026. Trevor is only 2 years old or maybe even younger. He has a beautiful Cairn face and a very sporty wheaten coat that shows off his trim 18 lbs. He is very sweet and affectionate and is very fond of both his foster mom and his fursister Robin. Please stop back here soon to find out more about Trevor (and Robin).
