CCTR’s Dog Tails of Summer – Nicholas (NKA Nico) – Adopted 4/11/2026

Nico has captured our hearts. He is such a good boy. Tons of personality in a little body. He certainly doesn’t act 13 yrs old! He zooms and tosses his toys about. Just wants to be with his people – joins us in every activity and cuddles close when we sit or sleep. He and Luke, our 8 yr old Norfolk, are a team. They play, share toys, leash walk side-by-side and guard their house and street. That adage “can’t teach an old dog new tricks” doesn’t apply. Being such a fast learner is helping us overcome his 2 issues: separation anxiety and fear of strange dogs. He may have had a good life at one time to be so loving and to know so much. Or maybe he’s just appreciative of CCTR rescuing and returning him to good health.

We call Nicholas Nico. And Luke [see below pictured with Nico] is CP’s Tom Jones from the British invasion group. Adopted in April 2022. He’s doing fine as well.
