Edmund is fully housetrained and even taught himself how to use the doggie door in his foster home. He’s a smart little guy with a goofy, affectionate personality that will melt your heart on day one. He enjoys sharing the latest gossip with the neighbor dogs, and he’ll also ensure the squirrels mind the boundaries. While Edmund is generally tolerant of the resident dogs and sometimes even wants to play with them, he can get grumpy with them, especially in the evenings. Because of this, he would be happiest as an only dog, where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves.

2/21/2026. Edmund is a dapper gentleman with a devoted heart, the kind of pup who wants nothing more than to be by the side of his special someone. He loves a good play session, but he’s equally content to curl up for snuggles with his person — affection is truly his superpower.
When Edmund first arrived at his foster home, his foster mom was certain he had to be a Scottie mix. His sturdy little stature and unmistakable “Scottitude” made it seem like a given. So imagine her surprise when his DNA results came back without a single drop of Scottie or Cairn. Instead, Edmund is a delightful blend of 25% toy/miniature poodle, 25% Chihuahua, and a wonderfully eclectic mix of 16 other breeds — including 6% Miniature Schnauzer, 6% Beagle, and 6% Chow Chow.
This charming combination makes Edmund truly one‑of‑a‑kind — a treasure with a personality all his own.
