At 15 years old, delicate little wheaten girl, Jamie, found herself alone in a local shelter after her beloved owner passed away. Thanks to the compassion of a shelter manager who refused to let this sweet senior spend her final chapter in a kennel and to Janet R. sharing her story on CRM, Jamie’s story took a beautiful turn. A heartfelt plea was sent out, and within hours, Jamie was brought into the safety and shelter of the Cairns & Cousins Family.
Our wonderful foster mom, Sharon B., has taken Jamie into her heart and home where she will be loved and cared for for the next 100 years of her life. Sharon tells us that Jamie may have limited vision and hearing, but her heart is wide open. Though she was frightened during her first night, once she realized she was safe, her gentle, loving personality began to shine. She’s wonderful with other dogs and grateful to be surrounded by kindness. Many many thanks to you Sharon!
